PRODUCER

Express yourself and help create outstanding work in this key permanent full-time role. We will also consider those who want to work on a contract basis. This position can be performed remotely but you must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK. We offer competitive compensation, a supportive culture, a company pension, 27 days holiday as standard and more.   

As a Producer, you’ll be a core part of our team and will be responsible for supporting the wider team in successfully planning, monitoring, and delivering large-scale creative projects on time, on spec and in budget. You will also be comfortable liaising with clients.  

Working collaboratively with our friendly and experienced team, you’ll have the opportunity to help create work that exceeds client expectations and delights viewers across a range of different IP. This role would suit a junior producer with at least two years of experience looking to step up, as well as those already performing a similar role. 

Responsibilities & Duties 

  • You will be expected to lead daily stand-ups with the creative and management teams 
  • Support internal project briefings 
  • Manage your own time effectively and meet deadlines 
  • Work with the wider team to troubleshoot and creatively solve problems  
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external creatives and other team members 
  • Keep creative teams on track, making sure deliveries are on time and on spec 
  • Liaise with clients to manage project timelines and budgets 
  • Administrate our internal time-tracking and PM tools 
  • Set up and log invoices 
  • Onboard freelancers to the team as required and organise contracts with them 
  • Be a cheerleader for projects and the team 

Skills & Experience 

You need to have: 

  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills  
  • Experience in project planning 
  • Ability to work proactively  
  • Ability to identify and present problems clearly to the right members of the team 
  • Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills 
  • Fluent in MS Office, G-Suite, or similar 

 

You could have: 

  • Understanding of project management methodologies and processes 
  • Experience of other PM software such as Basecamp, Harvest, Monday, Asana or others 
  • Some understanding of creative processes  
  • Enthusiasm for video games, TV, or films 
  • Experience of work in games, TV, film, or entertainment

OPEN CONTRACTOR AND FREELANCER OPPORTUNITIES

We currently have projects in production, as well as in briefing the stage, for some seriously great games. We are looking to bolster our black book with exciting freelance talent across a range of disciplines on a project and contract basis.

Video game experience is preferred but we also welcome talent from associated creative industries like film and TV.

Production: Have you managed creative projects from start to finish? We are looking for experienced, friendly, organised and meticulous freelance creative producers and project managers who can handle anything from CG productions to live action and gameplay trailers. Get in touch if that’s you.

Editors: Do you have a track record in editing AAA trailers, but also love to work on groundbreaking AA and indie games? If you’ve got the secret sauce, we want to see your reel.

Motion Graphics Artists: We are looking for contractors with a mastery of industry-standard software including After Effects. You will have a strong sense of visual storytelling and composition enabling you to produce brilliant 2D, 2.5D and 3D motion graphics. If you have a keen eye for design and producing VFX too, get your portfolio in.

Game Capture Artists: Do you have expertise with game capture tools and familiarity with game engines, including Unreal and Unity? Have you got an eye for cinematography, composition, detail, and staging sequences? Send us your reel and details.

In-Engine Artists: We are looking confident, problem-solving artists who have experience creating cut-scenes and cinematics in-engine with Unreal. Experience with Unity and other engines are a bonus. Show us what you can do!

Pre-Viz Artists: We are seeking talented pre-viz artists with experience blocking and laying out content and scenes. We have undertaken this for the likes of EA and Natural Motion so if you want to make a huge difference to high-profile projects we’d love to hear from you.
